Dear Reader, In this weekly update, I’ve got some exciting news to share—a little life update, a favorite podcast, one of my favorite free resources, and highlights from Harvard’s fascinating longitudinal study on well-being. It’s been a while since I’ve had the chance to put together a wisdom roundup, and wow, so much has been happening! First, a personal update—I’ve gone back to school to pursue my degree! After years of study and countless hours of learning outside of formal academia, I felt that now was the perfect time to dive in. I’ve enrolled in a Health Sciences major and am loving the process of learning in this way again. So far, I’ve been refining my research and writing skills while connecting with some incredible people in the wellness education space. On a related note, I’m excited to share that I’m collaborating with a dear friend—an amazing Doctor of Physical Therapy and talented yogi—to recreate my Yoga in Healthcare program. For 26 years, I worked in long-term care and hospice, focusing on dementia care, heart disease, and end-of-life support. It was a deeply fulfilling chapter of my life, helping people find relief from pain, discover peace, and feel truly cared for. Now, I’m bringing together the worlds of yoga, massage, and healthcare in a way that feels both timely and necessary. The integration is long overdue! And the big news: I’m in the process of acquiring a physical space! Since 1997, I’ve been guiding people through healing and transformation, and in recent years, I’ve added postpartum care to my offerings. Now, I have a full spectrum of services—from womb to tomb—and it feels like the culmination of my life’s work. This beautiful space, located in the heart of Point Pleasant, NJ, will be home to my offerings, where I’ll train teachers and practitioners and create a thriving community. So many exciting things are on the horizon, and I would love your support. Check out the details here: Support Sanctuary by the Sea on Indiegogo Here are a few extra resources I think you’ll enjoy:
